Works: Entailed the following:
- Demolition of existing building to include metal clad roof, steel trusses, steel columns & concrete block infill walls.
- Construction of new office building attached to existing building. New office comprises structural steel frame on reinforced concrete foundations with external masonry walls cladded with sheet metals, wood paneling & fibre cement panels & precast concrete suspended upper floor. Roof is sheet metal cladding on insulated plywood base. Windows & doors are double glazed aluminium.
- Internal walls are dry lined metal stud partitions or masonry.
- Mechanical & electrical services.
- Construction of retaining walls, paths & new surface to car park.
- Alterations to the layout of the entrance & car park including removal of existing walls & fences & construction of new.
- All drainage works.
